Tony Bertoldi is a proud Bostonian, lover of dogs and sports, and long-time low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC, pronounced LI-TEC) professional. Having spent nearly three decades in affordable housing, Tony is a frequent speaker at industry-related conferences and serves on the board of the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition. His commitment to affordable housing, and understanding of its impact on the community and its residents, have driven his continued commitment to the industry.
Tony currently serves as Co-President at CREA, LLC, a national LIHTC syndication company, where he and his team manage all investment funds and investor relationships. Before devoting the last 14 years to CREA, Tony served as managing director of syndications at a similar firm in Boston for 10 years and was a vice president at a large public real estate investment trust company.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a concentration in real estate from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. in finance from Boston University. After hours, Tony and his husband, Kevin, are often keeping up with their two boxer dogs, spending time outdoors, and visiting the Cape. Tony is also very proud of his Italian heritage and is the son of an immigrant on his dad’s side.
Affordable housing conferences across the country call on Tony for his expertise and experience in LIHTC.
